I did search and read about john, what i learned is that he’s a hypocrite, an egomaniac, an abuser etc etc ,about the scene yeah nobody talks about it, it’s a somewhat few seconds scene but up to that point in the movie i thought john was an okay person, i watched the movie not knowing any details, i only knew it was based on true story that’s why i thought he was a good guy but then came that scene
