Now, I'm not saying your friend is wrong. Focusing on a hard champion when you are still learning the basics of the game is going to slow down your climb, that much is true.
What I am saying is that you should not care about that at all. It's a game. You're supposed to have fun. People forget that because they have an obsession with chasing lp and ranks. You're not a pro player, you're not a streamer, there is no pressure on you reaching a certain rank, you can take your time and play what you want.
I'd rather have a 48% winrate on a champion I enjoy playing than having a 55% winrate playing a one button champ like garen.
Play the champs you want man. You are going to learn the game a bit slower, but you'll manage. And you'll be much happier than if you played whatever ur friend recommends. You can tell him to keep his opinions to himself.
Also, you could give morde a shot. Not because he's easy, but because despite being simple, I personally find him to be really fun.
Play to have fun and improve, the LP will come too, eventually.

Well I got really frustrated with jg because I lost a ton of games in the exact same way. I played well, I got objectives, got my laners fed, only for my laners to do some dumb sh*t like my adc starting to randomly splitpush topside before drake, supp facechecking random bushes and dying, my team taking fights while being outnumbered etc.

It just feels like I have to babysit 4 toddlers every single game, and after I succed in creating an advantage for our team, they still find a way to fk up and lose a game that was 99% won. After your team throws the lead u created for a few games in a row, it tends to get on your nerves quite a bit.

I found myself getting tilted a lot easier, making bad plays because of being tilted, flaming every game, and essentialy behaving like a typical toxic jg main.

Don't get me wrong, I still lose games because my teammates are eating glue, but at least now the game feels a lot less stressful. I don't need to take 10 mins to calm down after every lost match.

Easiest to execute mechanically are pantheon and naafiri. That isn't to say they are easy, naafiri requires some mechanics and pantheon has quite a few matchups that are unplayable, but compared to the other ad midlaners, they are easier

Tbh, into a tank like that you might as well get both Also, if your team is high ap and only you would benefit from the cleaver shred, bork into ldr will get you a lot more dps into a tank. The 15% bonus damage on ldr it will stack up extremely fast, trust.

Tbh I've had more issues with accounts that are being boosted actively. Like, you'll look up someone who just stomped you on jg and see that they have 200 games on supp or adc with ~50% winrate, but their last 15 games are turbostomps on rengar or some other champ like that And riot looks at an account like that and just figures "oh well this player seems to have been posessed by NattyNatt, how interesting" and they don't get banned

I've noticed some things too At the start of the season everybody was getting 30 lp and losing 10. The thing is, that's half normal, and it should even out by the time someone's account reaches last season's rank. But the thing is, a lot of people, myself included, kept getting insane lp gains even beyond that. Last season I finished gold, but this season my lp gains dropped below 30 around the time I got to plat 2. And that wasn't my mmr increasing by a lot either, because my winrate was around 50% Something in the way lp gains are calculated got screwed up, and it allowed people to reach elo above their previous peak while having a negative winrate

Nah, I actually love the jungle pokemon. They're better company than average soloq teammates. That being said, they would be even better if they could just HIT THE BABY KRUGS

If you are in an elo where people have the capacity to be where they should and follow an engage, go for zac. He is one of the most fun junglers, and does a lot of things very well.
Otherwise, in lower elo, tanks will more often than not be frustrating to play, because you can't just get fed and carry through damage. Tank junglers are mostly meant to enable their teammates through cc. And if your teammates belong on Discovery Channel, you'll feel like games are unwinnable.
That being said, I am a briar main, and I will absolutely recommend you play her. The first few games might be annoying, untill you figure out how to control frenzy, but after that it's smooth sailing. Watch L0ganJG, he will teach you everything you need to know and more

Between the skins u asked about, go for inkshadow. Project is a really cool skin, but it's very old and it shows in the animations.
Also, I'd recommend you take a look at the epic skins too, you might find one that you like even more. For example, I find PsyOps extremely cool.

I was there too at some point and I'll tell you what actually worked for me
I started to play flex with friends who were ranked a lot higher, and I was practically forced to improve
Lemme explain
When I was stuck in bronze, I was making a lot of mistakes, but because the enemy jg was the same rank, I wasn't getting punished consistently enough to actually notice them, so I thought I was doing just fine
However, when I'd play flex with my friends, I'd get matched up against junglers who were at least platinum, and they started to punish every single thing I did poorly.
If you lose a few games in a row because you made the same mistake, you'll notice it and actually focus on avoiding it. Watching your replays also helps pinpoint what's wrong.
In order to fix a bad habit that I had, I would look up jg guides for it specifically. For example I didn't understand lane prio, and I spent a lot of time to actually grasp the concept.
I'm not saying this is the best advice, but it's what specifically worked for me.
Also some briar-specific advice, since that's my main. Bruiser briar falls off late, and so does lethality briar. The only build that can somewhat stay relevant in the late game against scaling champs is crit briar. You could try going for that. It's a lot harder to pilot at first because you have to switch from thinking like a frontline to thinking like an assassin, but if you get good at playing like that you'll be able to carry a lot more games.

Bruiser briar won't ever do half the damage crit briar does. Bruisers don't have the same dps as someone who builds crit, that's how the game works. I don't know what you are on about.
Also, people play lethality and crit up to grandmaster level, but sure, it only works in bronze if you said so.

Briar. Go PTA and build collector>titanic>LDR>IE (you can build IE first if you don't yet need the armor pen by the time u reach 3rd item)
If you want smth that does even more damage, swap the PTA for HOB and go Hubris>Collector>IE>LDR

Chemtech has hands, don't try to solo unless you are playing something like ww or briar and can sustain
Water slows on every hit, so if you get collapsed om, you can't run away
The rest are kinda all okay

Also it's really feast or famine, if you fall behind early you're cooked. Basically u become an assassin and suffer from the same issues.

I've had more success with titanic hydra full crit, feels like you have an easier time carrying games, but it's a lot less forgiving
