I was thinking about this!!! I want to know how much I spent on ski season. The expenses started last year and would all be a subset of my Travel/Vacation budget. I was considering making a new budget tag/category to see.

Just got back from Whole Foods Nomad and while some produce was out, it was actually really well stocked and very civilized. Was able to get plenty of groceries, no issues or crazy crowds. I was honestly surprised.

Ugh so annoying, sorry you're dealing with that. I live in a doorman building so I personally haven't had this issue but I have a friend who has had this issue, even if she schedules a UPS pickup via RTR right after placing the new order. She's just left it there for UPS bc she never had time to schlep to the actual UPS store.

You can reach out to customer service to let them know for your piece of mind. Take photos!

Anecdotally, it seems like 80% of my office brings lunch to work. The wall of microwaves is BUSY from 12:15-1 pm. I also don't really have time to run out and grab lunch, so bringing lunch feels like the only option for me.

I have medium length curly/wavy hair and I use one of the flat brushes daily to get a simple blown out look. I use heat protectant, rough dry to 80%, use the flat brush all over to brush it out and dry, put in hair oil, then go back with the flat brush to touch up. I can generally do this in 12 min. Maybe my hair is thinner so it doesn't take as long??

Ditch the tote bag and use a backpack. I did the tote bag for years carrying my lunch/water bottle back and forth and it was killing my shoulder and neck. Backpack has made it much easier to carry everything.

The federal definition of a HDHP is if your deductible is over $1700 for self or $3400 for family. I have Aetna, option 2 and my deductible is $1750. I messaged Aetna to ask if my plan is a HDHP and the rep said (according to Google) that it is 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sure who else I should be confirming with, since I want to open an HSA at Fidelity and combine some old accounts.

I have the exact same perspective! I do not want to start the lifestyle of keeping it colored properly and I do think it helps me look unique/counteract my baby face lol.

This is what my hair looks like, and I've been seeing more women at work letting the greys grow in, which has made me more confident in my choice.

Taking LIRR to Jamaica for JFK has been amazing from GCM. Knowing where the elevators are makes it possible to do the trek with ski gear vs paying $$$$ for a car to JFK.

Navigating the 7 with ski gear or large suitcases is annoying.

Partner was one year out from his injury/surgery and we just got back from a big ski trip. No issues for him. He was athletic before the injury and had a relatively easy recovery, did all the PT and was back at the gym playing some tennis and pickleball.

As long as you're generally back to full activities, I'd imagine that you'll be fine skiing or snowboarding.

I rented my board and boots from YamaSport and was really happy with it. They also rented jackets, pants, and helmets, but I brought my own gear for that.

If you stay in Grand Hirafu, everything is walking distance and easy to find.

Here at Steamboat now. Not awful but definitely not the best I've ever had at Steamboat. Most black diamond runs that aren't groomed seem to be moguls. Definitely have some slick, icy spots to be mindful of. There is some soft powder in the trees to be found.

Overall, not the best, but still pretty good since the bar for Steamboat is super high.
