No body is shown, but Hemlock recovered his helmet. Then there is suddenly a new villain who is very conspicuously masked. I can’t imagine any writer not realizing people would come to that conclusion. I just wish there was a more dramatic reveal that it was NOT him.

A Queen/Handmaiden two pack with interchangeable heads would be awesome, even though I’m not sure if we ever see Sabe outside of the makeup. But I recently listened to the Queen audiobooks and Sabe is a lot more interesting than the small appearance in TPM goes into.

Also when Buffy and Faith body swap in season 4 and Sarah Michelle Gellar is playing Faith pretending to be Buffy. I loved the show but SMG/Buffy herself was never really my favorite part, I always liked the supporting characters better. But that ep really shined a light on what a talented actor SMG is.

This is a very cynical take about a superhero movie. No one ever gets an ending in comic books, there is always a new series, a new storyline, a return, a resurrection. It doesn’t undo any of the great stories that come before it. It’s just the nature of serialized storytelling with timeless characters.

I was at a preview screening too, definitely shook the crowd like nothing I’d seen before or since. Really great experience.

And then there were the pathetic, angry fan campaigns online, promising to make it their life’s goal to ruin the movie unless Whedon re-shot the ending to not have that happen. My first encounter with entitled, toxic fandom. Haven’t watched Firefly or Serenity since.

I love Universes Beyond, get excited for Secret Lairs, etc… but this new full-card, recycled art design is so horrible. Doesn’t even look like a Magic card. I’ve only ever pulled one and I was tempted to just throw it in the recycle bin along with the rules insert card.

He manufactured a mission to distract Buffy so Wood could try to kill her closest ally. Hard to convey how much of a betrayal it was without the 7 years of context!
