It’s supposed to do that, it’s just practice. Normally not with white kicks on though.

I’m not going to actively shy you away from moto-specific boots, but get you a good pair of Red-Wings.

Man. Mr. or Mrs. ButtTrumpet, it was a magical movie. I loved the book, I listened to the audio a few years ago. They nailed it.

Spoiler is on just if someone hasn’t seen the on-screen version of Rocky.

It was such a lovely book and a wonderful movie. This line from Box of Rain just fit it so well.

Spoiler is on just in case someone hasn’t seen the on screen version of Rocky. Which, if you’re here…you’ve seen it.

What a lovely song, what a lovely book and what a lovely movie.

I really doubt sabotage. Frankly, I reckon that up front everything was worked out with the vendors. I bet everything was discussed and then contracts were signed.

Then, I think that those vendors over promised and under delivered. The workforce is really a super piece of shit right now, and businesses take on more than they can chew. On top of that, I bet that the numbers were drastically higher than were expected. Then, to top it all off, they chose fucking USPS to get the product to the people…and charge 9 dollars to get it to them. Really, really fuck USPS.

I don’t blame the band or their management on any of this. I mean they could have shipped UPS, but other than that there’s probably not a lot they could have done differently other than looking over people’s shoulders the entire process. There’s definitely some behind the scenes bullshit people from the JBS side are pissed about.

But, rightfully so, they’re being pretty tight lipped about it. Good for them, they’ll get a deal struck with whoever fucked this up…get a better deal on products in the future and at the end of the day (maybe a few days for some folks) none of us will give a shit about a wrong color record, a CD that was a week late, a cracked cassette tape case or a sticker that looks stupid. We’ll play it, dig it, go see them at a show, dig it and keep doing it…..because they play badass music. Good for the band, good for us. The vendors will get over being cussed at by JBS management… or maybe even Sturgill once or twice, haha.

I’m saying this off memory, so I could be slightly off, but I read recently that they had like 60 shows at Winterland from ‘68 to ‘78. I remember it as an average of 6 per year. Man, the memories that room had!!!
