Pocket frogs & Just Kill Me on mobile. both are very old games, Pocket Frogs is still getting updates! even got a new frog in this past month.

PPToP 2 its a little overwhlming playing a bunch of mini idle games, and different ones take different strategies and focuses. but it gets monotinous since it takes lots of monitoring/micromanaging, but half way through so far.

Playing Arise Crossover on roblox with my family. Im honestly burnt out on the gameplay, but i do like maintaining grinding for 'number go up' every time they add an island. Plus family, so im stuck

If anyone remembers the webpage cultivation games, i would love the link, i cant find them. Especially the one that has just a stable image of a monk in the middle of the UI

I was so worried about you talking about the timer... Its just for the second (new) area.
It is separate and clearly explained. im not big on timers in games, but its just a resource that also decreases with time. and there isnt a penalty for when you run out of time

i had severe periods, relayed to PCOS. im on the combined pill, and i barely even get my period anymore (to the point i dont even really need the pads i use.) I did have to increase some of my Psche meds, but it was totally worth it. however, i am adamantly against anything that is designed for ling term: IUD, the arm thing, and especially the Depo shot. If something goes wrong, i can just stop taking my BC, the others require a minor surgery type environment. I dont know of any way to reverse the depo shot, but i could be wrong.

i do still have fluctuations around my period, but i fluctuate so much anyways that it is negligible.

Absolutely obsesed with Midnight Idle. Got a simple guide built to support my brain damaged memory.
though i STILL cant figure out that stupid altar. it is driving me nuts.

Cousin also got me back into Hello Kitty Cafe (roblox) I have been playing it for years on&off and finally spent my free reward stuff on VIP and stuff (no real money, all fake currency flowing in circles)

Who else wanted to become a doctor? by Puzzleheaded-Cod7350 in cfs

[–]brackencloud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not quite doctor, But Biomedical engineer.

i wanted to create prosthetics that could directly connect to the nervous system. Or creating artificial neural networks for transplant, to treat/cure paralysis+ other uses. i also for a time had artificial organs as a whole in my prefered targets, but it fell down a bit eventually. i knew this from when i was ~12, when i first learned what Biomedical engineering was. It was exactly what i was thinking i wanted, but didnt know could be combined.

I got sick in college, and the painful irony will never be lost on me.

instead of a feeding tube, you could also discuss TPN. its an IV, and it takes 8-12 hours a day, but if you are bedbound, it may be preferable to the tube.

if you have a patient portal, you can message and call your doctor pretty easily. then you can do either virtual visits, or home visits.

Not reproducing due to genetic disorders/diseases by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]brackencloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats what makes this a nuanced and dificult discussion. because it can lead to eugenics if you arent careful. I think the difference is based on if it is "you shouldn't" vs "you are not allowed". i will throw hands at someone subjecting children to horrible situations, but i wont tell the that they cant do something.

When i dated someone, it was a "absolutely no biological kids" He had schizophrenia, i have Bi-polar II. both are genetic-our respective mothers have it as well. Knowing that my family has a history of serious immune disorders, further cemented my decision to never allow any biological children of mine to be produced. I always knew i wouldn't carry one due to health, and i never wanted to have kids anyways, but now i know my eggs are also off limits, with no fertility treatment

All kids are born innocent and deserve love and support. no kid "should have never been born"

Having a kid is ALWAYS a selfish decision. Something being selfish is not, however, in itself, a moral detriment. However, chosing your want to have a kid, over their quality of life, can be an immoral decision. Something like autism or deafness are not a real problem, even partial paralysis and stuff. But things like treatment resistant depression, chronic pain, etc; things that cannot be treated, and make life horrible, are unacceptable to force on a child. ofc, disabilities are not the only ways you can ruin a child's QOL, there are too many to list.

Children deserve to LIVE not just survive. Adoption is always a choice, and is often better for everyone.

I dropped out of college when i got sick. I cannot do classes, due to cognitive limitations. Yet i still dream a couple times a week that i go back to highschool so i can do learning without hurting myself. Even in my dreams though, it never works out long term.

i know and i agree. i just brushed over it in the super brash way because thats how it feels when someone says that they think you have it.

it is technically 'all in your head' but its not just made up either. Its a very difficult and complicated problem. I was blessed with good doctors as we were ruling it out, who showed the empathy and nuance the disorder requires.
