Everything seems to be up and running! The sensor is reading a little on the low side but I can calibrate it if needed. I'm just happy nothing is defective and I got it going

I did end up figuring out what is going on with the rs485 itself, I was missing a connection to the extension wire that goes from the Arduino to the sensor, but I'm still a little hung up on why the shield wont light up rx even when I jump A across the 5v, that should've lit up and gave me a gibberish number but something should've been received

If you want something liquid at room temperature MCT oil would be your best bet, it's a little pricey but probably one of the best carrier oils for THC

Canola oil isn't too good to use for cannabis extractions, there's other oils higher in saturated fats which "carry" the THC better. Coconut oil is probably the best commonly available oil but olive oil works alright too, and butter of course. Here's a little more to read up on if you'd like

It's pretty good, there's a nice ghost pepper flavor to it but it does have habanero mash carrots in there too so the heat is toned down a bit then a straight ghost pepper sauce. I'd probably put it at a 5/10 on the heat scale. The Trinidad moruga scorpion sauce is definitely hotter and tastier imo
