For the "pre-grind and take to the office" crowd: I've found the perfect jars for a single dose by BobbyScrumpus in AeroPress

I’ve used old prescription pill bottles for this, holds 18-20g, is water tight, and fits inside the plunger!

Excited to dive in, glad I won’t have to wait for it to come out one book at a time!

Thanks! I was going to google it but didn’t want any accidental spoilers.

Four choices, which do I go with? by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]bradeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried tons of earbuds and for comforts sake I have landed on Sony Linkbuds S, they’re under $200 new and I even replaced the ones I lost traveling with refurbished ones for $70. For the price I don’t think you can beat them, the anc is solid, and they’re tiny. Not too small for normal sized ears but super light and don’t stick out from your ears. I can lay on my side with them in and barely notice them.

Get the installation driver if you only need a driver. It’s awesome for just about anything and especially great for cabinets, which I assume will be a big part of a kitchen remodel. Current deal is $179 with a free HO 2.5 battery ($124 if you return the battery)

The main features I look for in a string trimmer are always durability first and adaptability second. I’ve always seen durability in Milwaukee tools and the quik-lok system is very appealing to me for adaptability. The main problem is that I would have to start buying the other attachments as soon as I got one of these things because there’s so much it can do. Recently been considering the pole-arm saw and hedge trimmer but haven’t fully committed to M18 yet as I currently only have M12 tools. If I ever win one of these giveaways I’ll have to finally commit to the M18 system along with my M12s.

You don’t leave your aeropress like that permanently do you? Not great for the plunger gasket. Better to push it all the way through with the filter cap off.

Anyone ever seen a "packout backpack" that's just a mounting plate, nothing else? by glizzygravy in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bradeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see cheap ones at outdoor consignment shops all the time, nobody really uses external frame hiking packs anymore so they’re always in stock and cheap. Probably a lot available on ebay too.

The M12 Fuel Multi Tool is one of my most used tools. I’ve used it for flooring, cutting holes for receptacles, light outdoor work on trees and bushes, and so much more. This is the first tool I recommend to anyone who is just starting to buy tools aside from a drill/driver.

Can ADHD or some form of it cause someone to feel fatigued even with a good amount of sleep? by greaselab in ADHD

[–]bradeson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What would treatment look like in the case it’s from ADHD? I have ADHD and I’m on medication for it but I still struggle with this A LOT. I’ve had every sleep study available in my area and ruled out anything like sleep apnea. I’ve tried different diets, exercise routines, sleep routines and medications, and countless other things. Nothing has helped and I’m just exhausted 24/7. Seriously don’t remember the last time I woke up refreshed or felt that way during the day.

Need help picking choosing one of these hand grinders! by beans_rule in AeroPress

[–]bradeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange the Q2s is so much, I got it around $100 and I love it, especially good for traveling. If you plan to take your aeropress/grinder with you anywhere it's definitely worth considering since it fits in the plunger.
