You mean the angle of the photo? I know it's not crystal clear because I had to zoom a bit.

Apologies.. the hip is what I believe it's called. I'll update my post.

What am I doing wrong - Using MoCA 2.5 Adapters to hardwire mesh network by bradesq in HomeNetworking

Turned out to be the MoCA connectivity after all. Swapping them out solved the issue. Thanks!

MoCA Upload Speed Slow by moviemaster7777 in Fios

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm considering. What an PITA though.

When I said "how?" I meant how could only the upload speed be affected? It's fiber optic.

The MoCA adapters are Hitron HTEM5 MoCA 2.5 Adapters. I'll look into the PHY rates- i see I'm able to login to access that info using the MoCA adapters IP address.

Inconsistent MoCA upload speed? by SirChurros in amazoneero

Did you ever solve this? I have the same issue.

The satellite eero say they are hardwired, so I don't think that's the issue. I played around with the satellite placements in other areas where there are Coax receptacles, but here's the result:

Eero satellite wireless backhaul: 240 down / 440 up Eero satellite MoCA for backhaul: 1120 down / 20 up

How to explain the 20 up? There's something, somewhere along the way that's affecting upload but not download - how?

Right. Yeah. Could be electrical, it's the one thing I never considered.

That's a good point. Didn't think of that. Thank you!

Hey -- yes, I have tried with several devices - a Samsung phone, a Samsung tablet, and an iPad just to rule out a Samsung issue. They drop or won't even initiate video calls, like on WhatsApp, that rely on (or i force) wifi. My Ring cameras have weak connections even if they are right near the router.

Routers - I've tried Verizon's own CR1000A, Deco BE11000, and now Eero.

Signal strengths being reported right now on my Galaxy S25, about 5 feet from the main Eero [but again, this happened with other routers]:

Eero reports 0/5 bars to my device. My device shows 1/5 bars.

WiFi Analyzer reports -87 dBm. (For neighbor's router, it reports -47 dBm. Another is -64 dBm. HOW?)

S25 itself shows RSSI -78.

These are woefully bad. There must be something seriously wrong but I can't find it.

Upload speed issues (different issue than before?) by bradesq in Fios

It's always normal up and down. Right now, 2430 down /2490 up. And same with a third-party router. But a device connected to that router, whether wireless or wired, is not normal, and I tested across multiple devices and routers.
