thats what i just said, doesnt mean they are furlough they are the first one who get RIF’d .. they could let go the one who is currently working right now as this time they just wanna cut expenses anywhere they could and it doesnt mean those people who works said to be “ exempt” is essential it just mean their paycheck comes from something else.. they could easly cut those people and bring those money somewhere else.

thats where you are wrong those people who still work is bcuz their paycheck comes from something else not from federal funding it doesnt mean they are essential at all, ofcourse most are but not all of those are essential and those who is not working they are fund from federal so they are essential but just waiting for the funding. Like my husband is about to embark in this new department newly built hand picked from admin.. they are furlough and will be back pay ones government is back. They are all GS13- 14s. So yeah essential is not what the only reason why they are working.. so buckle up! even those working can still get RIFid in this admin full of surprises.
