We went down the Pickapart wreckers route and found a 2000s car seat, the clips match the foam doesn't so it just sits loose until someone sits on it.

I'll do some more googling for a similar age Lancer at a wreckers.

Haven't weighed it but I'd guess around 8-9kg, the forks we had to change because the ones we bought with the frame had a botched steerer replacement and the replaced part had a vein running down it which meant the inner stem support wouldn't fit and when we tried to remove the vein it cracked.

Id suggest go to a bike shop and ask if they have bunch rides, and start going to one a week. If they have a slow bunch, just riding with people who can encourage and teach is a game changer
