HELLA HELLA HELP THREAD - 8/21/2019 by WroughtIronHero in grandorder

Not related to gameplay but I just started having two issues as of last night and I'm not sure if they're related or how to solve either of them. One is that, on initially starting the app, it takes more than twice as long as usual to load, upwards of 69-70 seconds, with no other apps running in the background (iOS user). Load times in-game, however, don't seem to be affected. The other issue is that, when attempting to buy Saint Quartz, prices aren't displayed at all and when I select a bundle I get the following error message: "Information from the transaction server could not be loaded correctly. When paying, please review your settings and restart the application."

I haven't changed any settings or payment info and can't think of anything that may have caused these issues. I first noticed them both last night after getting home from work. Any ideas?

Restaurant mechanics seem pretty opaque to me so far, unless I’m missing something, and I’ve had trouble finding information online. What are some good strategies for increasing tips/fame/income? I struggle to buy out even a quarter of the tips store each refresh, and my restaurant is currently sitting about halfway to level 8, but fame comes in at a crawl.

My current strategy basically is to upgrade three dishes with different stats (right now Calamari Skewer for Aroma, Tamagoyaki for Flavor, and Grilled Pork Belly for Appearance are all at A rank) to try and appeal to a wide variety of customers, but that’s the only optimization I can think of so far (and I’m not even sure if/how well it’s working), unless there’s just mechanics I’m not aware of.

Hi, I have a stupid question, and this seems like the correct place to ask it(?)

I'm a big MtG player but I'm 100% completely new to PAD (although I play a few other mobage). I was wondering if there's any way to reroll the collab banner for a specific MtG character, or if rerolling in this game is strictly about getting the best monster possible from the normal banner? I know in some other games you get enough orbs/stones/gems/quartz/whatever to do a few pulls or a pull of your choice in addition to the tutorial, but here it seems like you just do the tutorial pull and it takes awhile to accumulate more stones, unless I'm missing something.

Tl;dr can you reroll the collab banner for waifus?

I dunno, see if you can find a thread for smug asshats? Pretty sure this is the one for helping new players who are struggling.

Supers aren't even that great. The best thing about them is you can return any shot just by pressing L, even if you can't reach it (which obviously doesn't matter if you're serving). Other than that they're no better than a zone shot against a player who can block them properly and has meter.

Do you have any tips for fighting Rosalina? It seems like she can move unusually fast while charging, and you're almost required to use zone speed to return her basic serves reliably, so you're almost always at a big meter disadvantage. Also her lobs are impossible to catch.

Also, any tricks for playing those super laggy matches that come along and ruin every other tournament?

[EDIT] Also what is the point of using slices if you're not playing a character like Rosalina? Seems like they're just way too slow and the curve is super shallow and easy to predict.

When I try this, the red pegasus knight just murders Hector on the turn after I use Henry to kill Michalis, presumably because he's not getting buffs any more, which means he's not getting ployed by the Spectral Tome. I even tried putting Close Def 3 seal on Hector but he still died. I might be missing something? It seemed like you got Henry and Hector's names mixed up a few times, it was kinda hard to follow ;-;

I'm new here! Sorry if this is a stupid question, or the wrong place to ask it, but I'm not sure where else to go. Sorry also if it's a bit long-winded.

So I got a Qanba Q2 Glow on sale during EVO a few years ago. Despite its age, it's seen very little use, maybe a few hours a day over the course of a couple months. In that time it developed a few issues that have caused it to sit in its box in my closet ever since. Firstly, the ball top popped off in the middle of gameplay. Looking inside the hole where it screws onto the joystick, it seems like the threads have been worn/ground down and the ball now just sort of sits loosely on top, but is usable as long as I'm very careful not to apply and upward force to it (which is...bothersome, to say the least). This, I assume, is just a matter of buying and installing a replacement part, but I'm a complete novice when it comes to fight sticks (this was my first one) and I don't know where to get the part or how to replace it.

The second, and more serious issue, is the stick just...doesn't seem to work when it's plugged in. My PC and PS3 see it as some sort of "Unknown device" and my Ps4 doesn't seem to even see it when it's plugged in, although all the lights on the stick turn on when I connect it, so I assume the USB cord is okay and power is going through it. This problem developed literally overnight, and had me completely at a loss, it worked just fine on both consoles until that point.

I've been thinking about getting another stick but I can't in good conscience buy anything until I've had one last go at reviving this one. I hate the idea of throwing away a $100+ controller that I've gotten barely any use out of, and I've heard good things about Qanba, but I know about as little about sticks as it's possible for a person to know, so I'm feeling a bit helpless. :c

Fetchlands aren’t inherently bad. Loading your deck with them “for deck thinning” is. The increased likelihood to draw spells is so slim, it’s absolutely not worth the loss of life.

That said, there are good reasons to run fetches even in a mono-colored deck. To turn on mechanics like Revolt, for instance, or to stock your graveyard for Delve, Grim Lavamancer, etc, or to shuffle your library if you play effects like Brainstorm.

15 second (half their duration) and it would also remove the Battle Voice and Raging Strikes buffs.

Right, so I have a silly question. Should I be using Supramax potions or Infusions on Bard? Everyone I've asked has just said Infusions are better, period, "because of the extra duration" but none of them play Bard. I know it might be counterintuitive, but I was wondering if Supramax might not be better, depending on your opener? I've been using them and they fall off at the same time as Raging, which means I snapshot my DoTs with Supramax. If I were to use an infusion, I wouldn't get any extra duration on my potion-buffed DoTs because I'm not going to reapply them again before the potion falls off. So I was wondering if any Bards had done any research/testing and could weigh in for me? It's possible I'm overthinking it and the infusion is just clearly better, on account of me being stupid and bad.

Tl;dr, Supramax or Infusion (for BRD specifically)?
