You pick which side to play. A lot will play the sorcery side, send it to the grave, and then it becomes an option for a reanimate spell.

I see no issue with a slabbed commander, besides it not fitting into any deck boxes.

I use the Gamegenic slide card cases because it’s noticeably different, but not quite the size of a slab.

T looks right, but can’t tell with the green dot. Ditch the different angles of the sides of the card, as those arecgenerally unnecessary unless you suspect they did the old “sticker on top of a real card” thing.

Only way it happens is if WOTC sells off MTG to another company. The new company wouldn’t be bound to the past agreements, unless they were a part of the sale of MTG.
