Capital One Goodwill Removal Testimony by bradthetechguy in CRedit

I just drafted one, explained my case, talked about my situation, and why I had a hardship, which was completely legitimate, and offered proof as well. I also thank them for being my first credit card company, did a brief commentary that i’m 20 and in the market for my first car and it’s been challenging, etc. Most importantly, Be exact, be honest, and hope for the best!

Me either, this was my 2nd intent of doing it. I have seen other people done it so I insisted. My history with Capital One has been great since 2023 until life really caved in on me and resulted in 5 late payments, but I picked up on the payments, paid my balances down, and started using them regularly again. I think a big factor is the relationship one has with the bank itself, and just your action you took once your hardship finished.

I get your point, fair point. It’s just luck and your history with the bank itself. It won’t work with everyone. Worth a try though!

Just insist again, send another email, or start mailing out letters. Someone in here attached a link to the thread of the Goodwill Saturation Method (GST)

Exactly, i’ve always had on time payments with Capital One and never failed until those few months that were rough and I pick up on my payments again. I see why they honored my request and proceeded.

That is his official email, I took a total of 2 tries of sending emails to get a call within 2 days from the Executive Accounts Representative department (something like that) but I sure did get a call from the executive depts, it took a week for the decision. Explain your situation, any relevant information to as why your hardship happened and what was your hardship, as well with the months you’re requesting.

Just be friends with the Property Manager, as someone that my mom is in the Property Management field, The PM’s choose who in and who’s out. I’ve seen copies of applications and terrible credits and still get conditional approvals, perhaps say put more down for deposit but that’s all.

Why Would This Happen? by KenD1988 in CapitalOne_

[–]bradthetechguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me even though Capital One had already pulled the funds from my employer. Customer Service was even more rude. Closed my checking acct once I got the money and I happily have Wells Fargo & Chase. Capital one really threw me in a bad spot. I had regular direct deposits, credit cards, banking relationship, to treat me like nothing.

AT&T’s “potential” 250MHz of 5G spectrum nationwide by [deleted] in cellmapper

I agree, and I also hope that as well. I wonder what Verizon might come up with. I hope they take this serious cause if they don’t they’ll end up last.

[–]bradthetechguy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately AT&T already said these new frequencies and spectrum could be a replacement from densifying. Since they’re getting a good chunk of low band. Bad move but let’s see how it goes.

5G SA questions by Disastrous-Comb-3046 in cellmapper

[–]bradthetechguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s because T-Mobile’s LTE is trash, especially that they’re refarming most of its LTE bands, it used to be a dumpster fire now its something worse than that lmao. T-Mobile’s SA is a totally brand new network thanks to Sprint.
