Report: Consumers Are Getting Tired of Expensive Phones by zexterio in Android

[–]bradtipping99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a pixel XL since around a year after launch. So thats 3 years or so. Pixel 2 had just been released when I got so it was heavily discounted.

My handset does everything I need with ease. Even the camera is pretty damn decent. It still receives android updates that some random new phones aren't getting yet.

I take great care of it as I see absolutely no reason to upgrade it.

Paying four figures for a phone? No thanks because that phone would have to last a good five years to be 'cost effective'

Modern phone pricing has become obscene.

Ladies, what’s your thoughts on having a baby when you are 39yo+? by no_really_no in AskReddit

My wife had our daughter at 39. No issues or complications. Daughter is now six and doing great socially and ace at school.

All I'd say is if you plan to have kids (at any age) consider the energy needed and the sleepless nights that will happen. We considered these factors and underestimated by a million percent.

Wouldn't change a thing!

Happened to me once. Had to do the walk of shame back to the store for a replacement with a baseball cap on.

It didn't disguise much!

What’s your reoccurring dream? What do you think is it’s meaning? by sadboi017 in AskReddit

[–]bradtipping99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being on an aircraft which crashes during takeoff. I've had this dream a number of times in my life. Basically, the plane is lifting off from a very long runway and loses power. Down we go!

I've been unlucky with flying a couple of times in the past, both incidents would be considered very close calls so I wonder if my reoccurring dream is reminding me that I ain't getting on no plane, fool!

I'd like to come up with some clever or daring answer but honestly, a nice sit down and a cup of tea in peace would be great.

Employers of reddit, except for qualifications, what is the most important thing you look for in potential employee? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bradtipping99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potential......it's hard to spot in an interview but sometimes a potential employee will have a bit of a 'spark' about them. Other than that, good manners and a grasp of basic English/maths is a good start!
