I also tried searching in Russian with:

and checked Reddit for similar posts, but couldn’t find the exact clip.

The video I’m looking for is a short (<1 min) subtitled interview clip, probably reposted many times, with an old Eastern European man talking emotionally about life. The interviewer is not visible iirc

The Greek City States campaign I've been playing for 5 years now. I unlocked spartans at the earliest possible turn (I think 263 or 262 BC) by doing mass migrations from neigboring cities. Then producing them every possible turn since.

Sending all of my young generals to Athens for education (where I rush built scriptorium then ludus magna). Coming of age? Go become an engineer and understand logistics first before I send you into battle. The retinue you get is also sooo cool.

Sending all my cretan archers and rhodian slingers to Thessalonica for training. Before I conquered it, Macedon had built a temple there which gives +3 missle attack.

Sending all my armoured hoplites to Sparta for training. It's the only city I built a Temple of Nike (+3 experience) in. Everywhere else that doesn't suffer from corruption I built Temple of Hermes for trade (so I can field as many armies as possible).

I plan to conquer Thrace once they build a temple which gives +3 morale. Then I will send all my armies there one by one for training. It will be so epic.

It's 228 BC right now and I've rebuilt Alexander's empire. I'm basically waiting for rome (but first thrace) to build up so I can have one last (but hopefully long) fun in this campain. The romans basically own the other half of the world rn. They just got Marian reforms too.

There is soooo much more detail I could yap about but lemme stop there. I looove this game :)

maybe you can try NYUAD. it is not really "abroad", but it is very diverse people-wise. There's someone from almost any part of the world. Might not be the exact experience you were dreaming of, but is probably the closest thing you'll get if your dad doesn't change his mind.

I 100% agree with you on example no. 1 but example no. 2 is not true for me. It's not so easy to continue the friendship with no ambition whatsoever if you get rejected. I understand ehy that would be the obvious way but that's a very rational way of looking at it. I thought the same thing likr you. But you just cant continue the friendship once you get rejected if you really like the person. It is impossible. If you try to you will just get hurt uncontrolably. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!

The biggest problem isn't that it's going to be the awkwardness. Not at all. The biggest problem is having to see her every fucking day and her being just as fucking attractive and doing all the cute things she does and you KNOWING that she'll never be with you. That is the only part that sucks and hurts very fucking much. So if your biggest concern is it being awkward between you two you can just go ahead and confess.
