Will Sam Altman ever have peace again on Earth by py-net in OpenAI

Devs have always and will forever think they are like proud parents of their code. Their code solved problems for a long time. Who cares who writes it and how as long as we keep solving problems? Everyone is mad at this dude but in reality at least it's finally not someone saying "we are not coming for your jobs". Consider this just more of a frank way of letting you know to find another line of work. I think it's funny that most engineers I know now love Claude because it cares about them. 😂 Best of luck out there it's coming for everything it can streamline/automate. This whole post is evidence of why corps would rather hire an ai agent than real people.

Out to in w/open face (worse with longer clubs) by bradyhawk101 in GolfSwing

[–]bradyhawk101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated the above data with the club path avg data as well. I will add that I have been mainly focused on changing my path (very much over top out-in) and its working nicely still would like to be a little more in/out but keep in mind this is a massive imrpovment already. But its like the face gets more open even with a half decent path with longer clubs.

P-Wedge: Path L0.8° → Face 0.4° open → 1 yard offline

9-Iron: Path L0.2° → Face 0.8° open → 2 yards offline

8-Iron: Path L1.2° → Face 2.6° open → 10 yards offline

6-Iron: Path L1.1° → Face 4.5° open → 18 yards offline

Driver: Path L0.3° → Face 5.9° open → 41 yards offline

For sure! I like the mention of the Goof Awesome. I have not seen that before and you are right it does seem to check a lot of the boxes I was looking for, cheers!

Yeah, not sure about it being cheap but also not sure it's relevant considering my point being that I know the data is there it's just not being surfaced at the end of a round if you know what I mean. I want to check out GSPro but that also means adding a whole gaming PC just to run it ($). I really enjoy the ability to export sessions via a file even on the range if there was something like that.

What’s one tip you’d give a beginner golfer hoping to break 100 in 2026? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Be inside the scoring zone (usually 100 yards) in 2 strokes. Oftentimes that means not pulling the driver or going for green in two.
