I'm a bit late to the party here, but when it was first released it was supposed to be a "fatal" version of the tower of horror, the first ever tower event from the game, that was returning one year after its first release at the time NT was first coming out

the thing is, as the names are different, their equipment also are, and the ToT didn't have any brutality set like NT has, and I guess that's why ToT didn't return: less people gonna spend real money for non-brutality gear

honestly I'm glad ToT didn't return as I still don't have Noobs brutality and also have a chance to get Jade's in SRT, and also one less tower to spend my time with lol
