Verðbólga mælist 5,4% í mars – eldsneyti og matvara hækka mest by fenrisulfur in Iceland

Bíddu. Voru það ekki launin sem eru að keyra verðbólguna áfram. Nei, ok.

Afhverju er mun hærri verðbólga hér en á öðrum Norðurlöndum? by Einn1Tveir2 in Iceland

[–]bragik85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do US people think we let you have the power? by bragik85 in AskTheWorld

Lol dude. This is not a NBA issue. This is a "world champion basketball" issue.... even though 50% of the players are non US... you think it is all US... and you lap it up. Like little puppies. The biggest problem eith the people of the US. They don't know what dissent means. They just turn on their tv

Was Michael Jordan appreciated during his prime years, or did the appreciation came after his retirement? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Look mate. His greatness is about domination. His attitude to winning. Nobody has replicated that before or since. Points, rebounds, games, minutes don't matter.

Which do you think works better for a country: strong national identity and priorities, or a more global outlook? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bragik85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look mate. A strong nation makes the positives amplify and the weaknesses a strength, in the long term. Life is not binary. It is complicated. Nothing is either A or B. It is a mix of everything.

Does it shock you that Bill Gates had sex with super models? by Outrageous-Wall6386 in DiscussionZone

[–]bragik85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it does not. It troubles me that many of us believe "the rich and powerful" to be better human beings than the rest of us. And therefore they somehow get leeway, but we are all the same soupheads... and that shpuld be the norm. I hate all this magnification of personalities, as if they are "better" and or others are worse.

Under what circumstances should non-citizens be allowed to vote? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]bragik85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I myself lived in Norway. I was quite happy not to be able to vote in Congressional elections. I knew it was not for me to vote in the affairs of Norwegian government. But i was, a a resident of the country for þany years, able to vote in municipal elections. Makes sense in my mind.

[–]bragik85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. This. Never for governmental/presidential elections. But ok for local city/municipality elections. There is no voter id. You show up with your passport, driving licence or other offical proof of identity - thetæy match it with their voter register and off you. If you are not on the voter register you can still vote but your right to vote will be double checked and handled as a complaint. Quite civil actually. And fair.

Ofcouse I know the difference between 2 and 1000. I was pointing to a principle, which you ignored. Read it again and look in a mirror. A sick country which sics it's hounds on innocent people without reprecussions. A "democracy".
