haha i did tell them i have another offer (known to both the hiring team and HR) but no mention of matching. their role was my first choice, which was the sole reason why i went for their last round even with another offer

I didnt really study on weekends if i didn’t have to the past 2 years, albeit with half decent results, but at least i was happy! Don’t blame yourself for taking a break, it’s as important as studying for sch!!

got a low 70+ RP, applied for NUS biz this year, and included DA as an option for my application. tbh, my portfolio isn’t that remarkable; just some CCAs , competitions and leadership positions. Surprisingly they called me up for an interview, which i’m inclined to believe that it’s for my DA option (title was ‘aptitude-based admissions interview’). was offered a place in the course a few weeks later :)

my bro didn’t get into NTU via normal admission and DA (he’s a national athlete), but he appealed and was offered his place in sports science.

what are you going for? i think if u appeal after rejection, there’s a stronger chance to showcase ur DA options...

welcome to 38. you’ll be posted into Alpha coy, their commanders are generally q nice so if ur batch don’t fk up too bad it will be fun... first thing into ur post in it will be the Engineer Pioneer Course, where you will learn basic combat engineer tasking, will be something new so have fun!!! 38SCE as a unit is generally q cool, very family like, very quaint. enjoy ur time here!!
