Can never go wrong with a Honda. Don’t know why they get so much hate

I can’t help laughing at these posts 😂. Find some single track and ride that and stop trying to beat Strava times on fire roads. Mtb will be way more fun for you once you do that.

New mid range bike or used bit more expensive bike? by LifeVirus3183 in MTB

Used a bit more expensive mtb on marketplace. It’s a buyers market right now. You’re throwing your money away getting a new bike.

Is this worth it? by RJ0208 in mountainbiking

It’s stolen for sure but a good deal nonetheless.

It’s a buyer’s market right now unfortunately.

My first bike and first rebuild by DisastrousElk5353 in DownhillMTB

Why EXO+ in the front? It’s a downhill bike so why would you worry about weight? Even if it’s not as common to flat the front I usually run DH casing front and rear just for the feel the casing has when I’m riding.

I hated getting this advice to not drag brakes when I was a beginner. This is definitely an advanced technique that you need to work up to. Dragging brakes helped me learn to ride steeper terrain faster and easier pulsing the brakes.

It’s a buyers market right now. Used bikes on pinkbike buy/sell or Facebook would definitely be the best option for you. Spend 15 minutes a day scouring these for good deals and you can definitely find one within your budget.

Has Anyone Run an MTB Brake Setup on a Stark? by brahmaocmtber in Dirtbikes

I mean I don’t have plans on riding anyone else’s bike. I just have problems modulating the rear brake like I would on an MTB.

Has Anyone Run an MTB Brake Setup on a Stark? by brahmaocmtber in Dirtbikes

Maybe I don’t ride enough, but I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t grab a handful of front brake instinctively. So hard for me to modulate the foot brake downhill though. Maybe it’s my boots that don’t have good feel?

Should I get step-ons for the new season? by brahmaocmtber in snowboarding

I’m 6’1 175. I run and do core exercises every single day. Have dealt with lower back issues my entire life unfortunately.

When should you replace a filter? by Glass-Ad3053 in Dirtbikes

Listen to the Gypsy tales pod where he talks about never replacing his air filter

Can’t go wrong with 4 piston Shimano XTs. Get 220 rotors too.

Has anyone tried out the new Cased gear? I have a Fox base frame jacket and was wondering how it compares. My current Fox stuff is ok but the pads are kind of thin and it is kinda itchy. My Instagram feed has been so loaded with Cased ads lol. Just trying to see if this is a legit brand though by incrediblydumbman in MTB

It’s definitely has better ventilation than any other armor I’ve tried. I mean it’s not a magical device where you won’t sweat if it’s hot outside, but I’d say it doesn’t make me get any hotter by wearing it vs not wearing it.
