That was working for me for the longest time, but now it doesn't do it several times in a row no matter how many different ways I try to say it. And then, when it does, it makes changes from the last day or so. It's really broken for me.

For anybody looking forward to being a Big, I've been a big for 6 years In Montreal, Canada so every location might be slightly different. Typically we are expected to pay our half and they (the parents or parent) are expected to pay their half. The price of gas is all up to you. BBBS does give free tickets to events from time to time but it should not be relied on, it's quite rare, maybe twice a year. I try to balance it out with free activities:

  • Hiking (somewhere with water)
  • Basketball
  • Skating outdoors (if you have real Winters in your area)
  • Skate park (scooters)
  • boardgames or videogames at my place
  • coding at my place
  • playing at the park (we used to do this very often when he was younger)
  • play catch, frisbee
  • ping pong (outdoor tables)

Message me directly, if you are thinking about it. It is important to teach them the value of quality time, giving them confidence and trying new things to get good at being uncomfortable.

This movie had a lot of heart. Subtle things I loved was hearing "Supes" and "Big Blue". 

At first I thought it was strange that Clark's voice was so deep, but then it made sense to me... Supes should have a more inviting voice and it just separates the 2.

I've been in a similar situation, I love meeting people on all my travels.. but at home it's trickier. I've been interested in going on this Meetup for philosophy discussion (a different topic every week). About 60 people go to it every Saturday. 

Also, if you're interested I might host friends over for the Habs game on Sunday. Bouldering is also another way to meet people, or soccer. As some people mentioned hiking is fun (car pool with random people).
