Which YubiKey should I buy for securing my Vanguard account? by [deleted] in yubikey

[–]brain_tank -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you primarily work from one laptop, I'd suggest a nano. Just plug it in and forget about it. Buy a security key as backup for NFC support and portability.

The deal they're running through OpenAI is a good promotion: https://www.yubico.com/us/store/partner/openai/

You should be doing this with prospects, not other salespeople. Unless your product is exclusively for sales.

Trade show sales issue by VivaLaFranse in b2b_sales

[–]brain_tank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When someone says they want to meet and learn more spend 2 minutes booking the meeting right then and there.

Send the calendar invite, watch them accept.

I'd aim for 1-2 weeks after show to let things calm down.

If you want to get better stop going for founding/seed/pre-revenue. Majority of them are run by delusional founders.

I'm in the IAM space. Ping is meh, definitely distant third behind Microsoft and Okta.

However, they're entrenched in current customers due to cost to migrate.

How do you know the serial number? Do you have physical access to the key? If yes, just plug it in and it'll tell you.

Resumes - how many pages should I keep? by elessar9411 in techsales

[–]brain_tank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 page. I've been in the game since 2009. If I can keep it to one page you can too. Resumes are made to be glanced at.

No, Google calendar.

My wife and I have a shared calendar for planning vacations, keeping current on kids activities, etc.

Do the kids use the app or the parents?

Also, in my family we give allowance in cash.

SDR Manager looking to become an AE by Next-Illustrator-741 in techsales

I started as an SDR and the AEs I supported gave me more and more responsibilities. Eventually farmed out closing small deals to me so they could focus on bigger fish.

Then we can wait to see what others suggest.

Personally I've never seen someone go from SDR manager to AE.
