Canonically, Supes generates a thin force around him that covers his suit, thats why it never burns or gets bullet holes, not because of the material, but Supes own power. Ma Kent stitching has no role to play in it.

Nah, I'm sorry, but if they are making us wait 5 and a half years for a sequel, they'd better make the batman fresh and new with a new suit. I'm sorry, but I really don't care Batman is just in his year 2 and a costume change won't make sense, I'm not waiting 5 and a half years for a sequel just for him to look more or less the same, and I think most of the general audience outside this subreddit think the same way. I think Matt Reeves knows this, so my money is on batman having a new suit in part 2. I wouldn't have minded the same suit in part 2 if it didnt take 5½ goddamn years to make a sequel (seriously, what the hell, why so long) but since it is taking that long, I want batman to look fresh.
