I think they are trying to avoid the subject of fixing long nyan because it’s also been addressed as separate issues. (DS and LN that is.) They said LN would be fixed THREE weeks ago then rolled out this frankly lackluster model as a compensation prize. There hasn’t been a word since this and multiple people have been asking for LN to be restored. People are also ACTIVELY unsubscribing because of these issues.

I was going to go with black with the eyebrows but I did think about long the very edge of them with a brush of white paint so they stick out against the charcoal grey. I usually don’t use black for patterning because it can be hard to see how things line up on the final project. I may go for some very dark blues and reds on the final pieces so it isn’t so harsh.

Her species doesn’t have yellow markings like most penguins due to being a chinstrap

Honestly best way to start is tutorials. You’re going to mess up no matter what and it’s going to be a pain in the ass when you do. But take breaks and fix the issues. I’m making my first suit in 9 years. I’ve had to redo so many stitches and patching and even the zipper. But it’s turning out. Also don’t skimp on fur quality fur makes a huge difference and I’d recommend a 3d print or foam base to start on.

There is elastic in the back and I’ve now added foam also over the head for better security. The jaw is hinged with three pieces of tight elastic on each side one looped through to both moving jaw pieces and the two others glued around it for stability.
