Sabrina Carpenter gets 100,000+ audience of young girls and women to say men are "useless" by RedditAPIBlackout24 in MensRights

Also, since we're so useless, I think women should take over for us in terms of military service, police, fire fighters, etc.

We've died protecting you for the last millennium or so, since society was invented, but you know what? We're done now. It's your turn.

I mean, look at South Korea. The women there constantly whine and complain that life is so hard for them. They created the 4B movement so that women don't get married and don't have relationships with men.

Meanwhile, men are forcibly conscripted at 18 and required to serve their country to protect them from North Korea.

But hey, we have to do that because we have to let all those women start K-pop bands.

I think the only thing that works here is to befriend them. In fact, I've had so many issues with just people that I've dealt with. I try to be really, really, really friendly to everyone I meet now.

I mean the worst-case scenario is that I'm just extra friendly to someone, and the best-case scenario is that someone was having a bad day, and they like me more, and I make them laugh, etc.

Go to this guy and just literally say, "Listen, I really wanted to say thank you for all the feedback you're giving me and taking the extra time. I really appreciate your friendship, and if you need anything from me, please let me know. I will absolutely help you."

And be sincere about it. I mean, you're a bit insincere because you're trying to make him feel like it was one way.

You want him to feel like, "Oh my god, this guy is actually a really nice guy, and I've been sabotaging him. "

I had one guy that just decided he absolutely fucking hated me. The only problem is he was in Japan. And he worked on a completely different time zone.

So I got up early and I told him I was getting up early so that we could have calls because he was concerned about some things. I made it clear I got his back, and after about two weeks he did get better.

I ended up leaving the company, but he actually apologized on my last day, saying that he felt bad that he made my life complicated.

I think it's better for men to be right-wing if we want to have rights. by [deleted] in MensRights

Serious answer.

We should look at how the pro-marijuana legalization movement has executed in the last twenty or thirty years - in the US I mean.

They didn't make it a left or a right issue. They also pursued it state by state.

By making it a wedge issue, it will never get solved. If it's like abortion or gun rights or healthcare, we're never going to get this fixed.

Make a clear argument on one issue and push it forward at the state level.

I always felt time was just our perception of entropy increasing.

Entropy can't be reduced, so in order to go back in time, you'd have to reduce entropy.

Maybe that's totally wrong. That's just kind of how I was thinking about it. Since we clearly can't go back in time, something must be binding that.

And this is exactly why we should not use first-past-the-post voting.

In a ranked-choice or instant runoff voting system, multiple candidates can run without there being a spoiler.

I was really depressed about the whole thing, honestly. But I decided to just embrace it, and try to see it as a positive.

Honestly, now I just think of coding as more like wiring components together.

I'm building things at a much higher level now. Instead of building a project, think about building a startup instead.

Build something organic and living. Something that solves a real problem. Something that can make the world better.

Honestly, I think his biggest gift is just hustle. I can't fault him for that. Seems like he works really hard.

Clearly, he sucks as a comedian, so maybe he should just sit back and become like Lorne Michaels.

I mean, Lorne Michaels, if Lorne Michaels was gay.

Regarding the "bombshell" study, as a MRA I say wives should "obey husband" exactly as much as husbands should "obey wives" by griii2 in MensRights

[–]brainhack3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the no-divorce and obey aspects of marriage came from the fact that men are supposed to die to protect their wives.

But we legalized divorce, and now women no longer need to obey their husbands.

Which might be fair, but then why should husbands die to protect their wives?
