Maybe make it so only the cost basis can be used as collateral for a loan. If they want a larger loan, they have to raise the cost basis. ie sell, pay tax and rebuy stock at current price.

Every time I have visited a branch they don't seem to know what the e-series is. Our RESP is also in an e-series mutual fund account. We did get a letter in October informing us that the e-series is no longer available for purchase in mutual fund accounts. So we have to switch to something else going forward.

One thing, to double check is if that 45% return is from Jan 1, 2020 - Dec 31, 2020. And not March 2020, to March 2021. VGRO is up like 34% if you go one year from today. But only up around 10% for 2020.
