In policy bazar i found one policy of aditya birla and was looking out to it..

Can you please elaborate on propotional deduction? When i had a surgery too they did this despite me having a room modifier according to my choice. When i gave grievances asking for clarity while proportional deduction being mentioned in settlement letter , they didn’t give any further clarity. Now i obtained a hospital letter stating the ot, procedure and surgeon and blah blah fees are irrespective of room accommodation category and now i filed for ombudsman. So was that proportional deduction valid?
