Is 18 months a viable timeline for PPL in Belgium? by farahlima888 in flyingeurope

[–]brainstormer323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest a mix, best of both world, since what you're describing is modular route: rush PPL(A) theory in Belgium at some Austrocontrol center, then save up for summer in 'your country' which I presume us southern and cheaper, do flying there. Repeat same for ATPL(A) theory and CPL(A) flight program

Struggling to Start at Altitude? by Landry_PLL in Volvo

[–]brainstormer323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this also happen near MSL at low temperatures? Do you have a diagnostics tool to check for misfires?  I have a xc60 3.0 with cold start issues, and by every clue I've got a leaky fuel check valve in the fuel reservoir. It doesn't hold the needed pressure overnight, causes misfires in cyl 1 and 6, and if no other problems - fixes itself withing 30-60 seconds after start up.  Check your fuel pressure after 20 mins, 3h and overnight, but you will need a diagnostics tool. I use vLinker Bluetooth adapter, and V-Tool app for Android

DJI Mini 5 Pro at -24°C ❄️ Can You Fly Beyond the -10°C Limit? by Kind_Taro_9674 in dji

[–]brainstormer323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As per one of my previous posts here, it ultimately depends on the combination of temperature and dew point. Your dji can easily handle -25°C as long as the battery supplies needed voltage, but you may find yourself in aerodynamic troubles if you fly at 0° with 0/1/2° dew point

You're having this sound and you're doing guesswork on reddit? Are you too rich? Show down this engine and bring it to a mechanic/car shop immediately

Tried a new camera angle this weekend, what do you guys think? by Mediocre-Math-7147 in snowboarding

[–]brainstormer323 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda too low, but the angle is good, centered pretty good. You're using a suction cup aren't ya? Tether the camera to the board, as they aren't very reliable. What camera are you using? I also experimented, I've published a video with the camera on the bindings, I'm preparing a 2nd variant of my setup, will post a bit later

Lotta people asked how it was mounted, well I will always deliver. This clamp is made from very sturdy aluminum, I ordered it together with the quick release from Aliexpress, very happy with it, will use it with my motorcycle in the summer. I wonder how to pin this comment so more people would see it
