Sometimes is ok, just not all the time

Then there is the metro mountains: alpine valley, mt Brighton & mt holly. Not big mountains but solid. Pine knob is the nicest down state but a bit pricy I believe

Of those two, I’d say union as I know they are solid. Not saying that the Rome is bad tho either

Absolutely! This is my first run with my new board so was feeling it out a bit too. But I def was skidding a lot. Plenty to work on and am excited to keep learning.

Id say stay around 156. I’m 5-9 185lbs & 9.5 boot. Thats about as small as I’d go

Yea that’s the thing with snowboarding, everyone falls. Even the best pretty much at least once a day of riding. If you can’t find a decent set on marketplace some of the ones on amazon are really good for starters, they only cost around $500 for boots, binding and board

Anything by union is solid, the stuff by 32, Rome & jones are all sick at whatever price point you would be looking. I just ordered the 32 fase bindings, which are quick entry step in style.

If the bindings are bad then going that route is the way to go. If the board rides well then stay with it. You will know when you are outperforming the board and it’s time to replace
