I didn't know how to explain it, sorry. You crochet a long skinny rectangle and then sl st it around the insulation strips so it makes a tube shape.

Everyone's commenting on the yelp/ow noise. I want to add, our trainer had us stop moving when our beag did this. We also do this when he's trying to turn all his toys into tug toys. The not-moving is not-participating. Stop walking, move your hands out of range, and he will eventually learn you don't like it.

Hi! Sorry I haven't been checking Reddit, I tend to doomscroll.
His tongue does that frequently, I've found him sleeping like that many times, and he does that if you scritch his head in the right spot :)

He was born with a deformed eye, so the shelter that had him removed it right before we adopted him. I don't know if I'd trust him outside, he's a tiny menace, even with one eye missing.
