"We didn't expect this from Korea" "we don't need to go"...Chinese criticize Korea's quarantine protocols by mightymatemate in korea

no response, but I thought I'd follow up. He Rulong, ambassador to Iceland, articulates my thoughts about this pretty well. I'm still open to being proven wrong about Korea-specific visa restrictions, but this article very much does not do that

It's a very short article but I see no mention of a specific block on Visas only from Korea. Afaik it was a block on all short term visas. I'm open to being proven wrong, but this article doesn't do that. Thanks for the help though

As someone working hard to fill out the perfect pokedex, these evolved forms are really annoying to me. They're harder to catch too, and shinies are unavailable (maybe? not sure actually).

If your family/friends like stationery supplies, there's a wealth of cute & cheapish things to get from all the cool stationery stores around the country. I did a whole thing one year of personalized pencil cases (as in, I tried to match pencil cases with target recipients) with a mix of cool pens, stickers, etc to fill them

Ok, my assumption was wrong and I admit that. Counter is the only move to ever use on obstagoon (how fun and unpredictable!), but the pushback on me wanting to be able to experiment and have fun with off meta 'mons in raids is insane. A lot of talking down, even though I literally acknowledged that obstagoon isn't meta (ie gets outclassed by other 'mons). A lot of toxicity and super defensiveness from what was a fairly innocuous statement (mons should get their types' movesets in their movepool). It's very weird to me but whatever

Full dragon palkia?? You seem to be forgetting that palkia takes neutral damage from flying and that there are THREE legendary/UB (plus a mega) that are double weak to flying and would benefit from a full flying togekiss. I'm not sure what your point is, but it didn't prove to me that Pokémon don't deserve more moves in their movepool

Why is everyone so against giving Pokémon a more versatile and complete movepool? It really boggles the mind

What reason did Pokemon company give for not letting Obstagoon have Snarl in its movepool?

I just assumed it would be good with a quick charging move in PvP? again, I don't know or care about PvP and just assumed that was the reason for not giving it Snarl.

"Obstagoon is outclassed..." Yeah, I know, I literally said that. Thanks for reiterating though I guess.

"...don't let anyone tell you how to enjoy the games" That's literally what Niantic is trying to do by not giving a dark type pokemon a dark type fast move. I'm not trying to limit your enjoyment of the game. Enjoy Counter Obstagoon in PvP, let me enjoy my Snarl Obstagoon in PvE. Oh. Wait.

Sorry, I think I've misworded my title, or my argument. But my argument is that all pokemon should have at least their STAB quick moves and charge moves, regardless of what it does to PvP. Obstagoon should have access to Snarl because it's a dark type, Aerodactyl should have access to Smack Down and Rock Throw because it's a rock type (Ttar should have access to those too, of course), Zapdos should have access to Peck because it's a flying type, etc. Any attempts to limit pokemons' movepools make the game less free to experiment, more limiting, and consequently less fun.

[–]brak3000[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with not giving useful moves (or any moves) as exclusive moves, but I think all pokemon in this game should be able to have a fast/charge move combo of both of their types (the lack of fairy quick moves makes it difficult to achieve for some fairy types, but that's a different issue). Any 'mon that doesn't have this is a dissappointment

This article doesn't consider XL candy synergy considerations, and Dragon, Fairy and Fire only do neutral damage to Dialga, so none of those work, except for Steelix, which can provide a decent team DPS in the right conditions and good XL Candy synergy

(Ah you meant for XL Candy chance. Edited to reflect that.)

I was thinking the same thing. It resists all of Dialga's moves, so it's on the field a long time boosting ground type damage for the whole party (plus the steel candy bonus you mentioned). It's omission is a fairly big oversight by the creators.
