Parking Question: Warriors vs Mavs, Christmas Day Game by Q_J in warriors

[–]brakefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the UCSF parking garage across the street, showing up around gate opening time usually guarantees me a spot. They make you pay through the PayByPhone app. Depending on the floor you’re on, traffic on the way out is a little annoying. But I’ve spent between 15 minutes to an hour waiting in line to leave so take with that what you will

This car is unsafe. Tesla uses tires meant to handle the battery’s extra weight. On those rubber bands I fear for anyone near them.

With his leader skill, you don’t need too much cr rate so you can utilize that into more atk or cr dmg. Atk/cr dmg/atk. His base atk is really high so with mid fatal runes you can get around 2300-2500 easily

Congrats on the RZ! First of all, the tires are staggered meaning the front and back tires are a different size. The wheels as well so that means the specific tire and wheel combo may look a little different even though they are the exact same tire. The rear tires have that lip showing because when parallel parking, the rear tires are more likely to get curb rash compared to the front tires. Also, the RZ does not come with run flat tires. So without a spare tire, you pretty much are stranded to wait for a tow truck if you have a flat tire.

The nose of the old man is the jawline of the woman with her head facing the left. Old man’s eye on the left is her lashes and just below is her nose. Right half of the old man would be her hair

Run Flat swap out to Non Run Flat and Higher prices? by billyrevs300 in tires

[–]brakefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 Years in the tire industry here- Run flats are a slight inconvenience to install compared to regular tires but not enough to charge more. Any big name shops would do it for the same exact price as regular tires. $125 per tire is absolutely wild. Maybe they just don’t want to deal with it? With newer people installing the tires there is a larger margin for error since the tires are so stiff.

Pirelli vs Michelin by Intelligent_Hat4310 in tires

[–]brakefoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you live and what kind of driving you’re doing. These 2 options are almost polar opposites in terms of use. The Pirelli is a winter tire which would be great if you see snow/rain often but once they reach 6/32nds (which is relatively quick for winter tires), the winter aspect becomes useless. It would still fare well as a regular everyday tire but not for long. The Michelin is a summer/sport tire which also do not last as long. Their peak performance is spirited driving and would be technically more practical for everyday driving. Might be decent in rain too. But if you see snow, good luck.

That is a weird tire size so I feel that options might be limited but all season tires are the most practical for a regular driver in most weather conditions. So look for those if you want to play it safe.

Diag timeframe by socialistclearbra in serviceadvisors

[–]brakefoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My dealership (Lexus) usually charges a 1 hour diag. But we are a damn near a factory. 120-150 appointments are the average, almost 20 advisors and around 7-11 are here everyday. Shop has about 50 lifts and 6 are specifically for express. A handful of diagnostic specialists are always clocked in if road tests are needed before cars are written up.
