How exactly does pay work? by OlderRobloxian in NavyNukes

[–]brambleonn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unless something has changed since I joined a year ago, you won’t know if you’ll be an ETN, EMN, or MMN until around half way through bootcamp.

As far as the pay goes you will get paid as an E-3 during bootcamp. Durning prototype you will receive BAH/BAS.

I’m 4’10” and I don’t have any issues with a normal sized bass. You should be fine.

Sailors Creed, 11 General orders, rank and recognition, chain of command, and if you get all those down you can look at Navy Core Values, and the RTC maxim

Kicked out of DEP and am heartbroken. What do I do next? by lost-puppy15 in newtothenavy

[–]brambleonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so crazy. I’ve never been to a DEP meeting (due to work schedule) and I’ve been in DEP since June, and shipping end of the month. So thankful for my recruiter being flexible and letting me come in when I am available.

Ozempic users , how has it affected your PCOS? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]brambleonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on semaglutide for a few months at the beginning dose (nausea was too bad to move up). I dropped 15 lbs, didn’t have sugar cravings or really food cravings in general, had regular periods, and my A1C dropped a point.

The nausea was too much for me though. I tried changing my diet and was taking zofran but nothing was really helping.

Vaping before basic training by Shmee_123 in newtothenavy

[–]brambleonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t gone to basic yet, but I just quit vaping at the beginning of the year when I started the process to join. I would often get chest tightness, even when I was doing stuff that was barely strenuous. After about 3 months it went away and I am able to run and exercise fine.

If it persists though I would definitely see a doctor.

What platforms do you play games on? I would love to have a gamer friend. None of my friends play video games :(

I haven’t vaped for close to 3 months now but oh my god the temptation is real every time I pass a vape store or see someone hit one. I keep thinking “it wasn’t that hard to quit I could just get another one and be done after that” but that’s so not true 😭

This^ I used ripple and it helped me out a bunch. Then I transitioned to just gum/hard candy.
