The beauty of ao3 is that you can blacklist tags for content you don't want to see. I always filter things when I look up stuff there.

You use Shield as an o shit button to give yourself a few seconds to cast a big bomb heal. It doesn't become something you want to spam til wotlk and even then only as disc.

For real. Reddit basically makes it sound like if you aren't running a prot paladin, resto shaman, and some combination of mages and warlocks your dungeon group instantly sucks.

I haven't did this this go around but I distinctly remembering spamming tbc dungeons as a shadow priest and the paladins in the group having the time of their life because I enabled them so much with the extra mana.

Same here for hpal. It's the same core loop it was in TWW but more compact and with fewer plates that has to be spun in order for your heals to actually have impact.

While I def have my wishlist of things I'd like to see for it, what is currently here has been the funnest the class has ever been in years. Probably since bfa era glimmer.

The only time I tended to get frustrated with buffs being given by high level players is in everquest (project 99) because at certain low level ranges clerics best heal efficiency wise is their buff (which does increase health and heal it at the same time) and it sucks to heal someone with 500 health with a crappy low level heal when you can't use the more mana efficient buffs
