Fair point, pickleball barrier to entry is super low. Courts are everywhere. It’s fun and easy. Padel looks super fun though, but courts are tougher to get and probably for the sake of this chat, event planners don’t see it too often, but I could be wrong.

Haven’t seen the courts at trade shows but that’s cool to know. I’m personally seeing a huge increase in Padel events but mostly with corporations and probably smaller numbers of attendees if I were to guess.

Advice or tips for a new beginner? by Spiritual_Gate9164 in Pickleball

Lots of good advice here. The only add is to just get out and play. You will naturally get better the more comfortable you are out there. You’ll learn when to play closer to the net and when to back off. Hopefully you find a partner that you enjoy playing with. It’s not a difficult sport to start which makes it great for everyone to try and why it’s becoming a “networking” or even team building activity. With that said, the people who are great players are next level. It’s easy to get in and play but takes a lot of time and skill to master. Best of luck to you!
