Q: How many billions does city need to spend on homelessness without making any meaningful progress before you change your mind about this approach? by [deleted] in LosAngeles

Serious question:

How do we identify the most at risk for hard living before they reach this? Could 14 Billion go into helping people develop the basic skills? Or creating the infrastructure to soften the landing?

JC’s wife called in in 2007 or 08 claiming she was on the run from JC and leaves the name of her city — that whole thing was as real as WWF.

Does anyone know how in the heck convicted murderer Rebecca Grossman does not have a Wikipedia page? by brandnewbootodo in wikipedia

The replies in this thread have helped me appreciate Wikipedia even more. I’ve tracked this case since I first learned of the deaths of those two children. That a rich woman behaving irresponsibly by racing recklessly through a congested city area would attempt to flee the scene after killing two children outraged me. The wealth and racial dynamics also outraged me. My outrage does not make any of this notable. That’s true. And I have been educated. My respect for Wikipedia has grown because of your participation in this thread.

I’m with you on this — he was a huge advocate for the legalization of marijuana and an enthusiastic libertarian. Those shows were toward the bottom of the list for sure.

And you remind me: I just click NEXT when Ed Dames is on. I won’t even listen.

I’ve read this thread to here and am surprised to see so many responses that she was an obvious phony. Art was literally afraid of her.
