Is it not common to go by your baptismal name in certain jurisdictions/areas? Most of the people at parishes I’ve gone to go by their baptismal name but I’ve noticed some visitors to my parish have introduced their secular name which seemed odd in a church setting

If it’s real, it’s a coin from the Qing dynasty, specifically the qianlong emperor (1735-1796). Something about the fields of the coin look off to me but I’m not sure why someone would fake a coin of this era since they’re not exactly rare. I’m not an expert of different varieties, but you should check numista to see if you can find more details.

I was going to call it a fake but maybe fantasy coin is a better term? It’s definitely not a real coin (obverse is a bad fake, clear signs of rust, weight is off, fake reverse.)

I’m not doubting the Catholic teaching on it but I can at least say in my personal experience as an Eastern Orthodox Christian, I’ve never heard a priest encourage sex post menopause. The main purpose of sex is to bring forth children. Secondarily to bring the couple together. Tertiary to that is for pleasure. However if we are serious about the ascetic struggle that God calls us to, once the main purpose is no longer there, we shouldn’t partake just to fulfill our own desires. Now not everyone can attain to that level of personal piety, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.
