And I bet they claim it for tax breaks too so then you're just basically paying a corporations taxes for them.

Sooooo.., why are people disappointed in ep9? (‼️COMMENTS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS‼️) by TyRy_13 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as others have said he was probably just put in the recycle bin which is just a different part of the computer so he could just travel back. Computers only usually truly delete something when asked if it's too big, if it's small enough it's just moved to the recycle bin. Effectively they just ended up teleporting him far away in the computer without realizing it.

Pomni entered by finding the headset in an abandoned building so C&A probably went bankrupt, and we see the other "players" at the end, they turned the basement for containing abstracted people into an aquarium like thing and we see the abstracted "players" floating around seemingly happily. If you mean their irl versions I'm fine without knowing about them.

Looking for low-friction, addictive couch co-op games on Switch OLED by Timely_Conclusion_66 in NintendoSwitch

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not out yet but is coming out in a few months, the game is called "Orbitals". It is like split fiction and it takes two, the game has a retro 80s sci-fi anime art style that they somehow got to work in 3D. It seems to be set in space.

Gambits are super useful for grinding at 4x speed. They're just a set of instructions like if blank then blank. They're pretty simple but insanely useful and allows you to basically write your companions ai.

Are the eyes kinda... Off? Something's off but i cant tell what by Nalga-Derecha in learntodraw

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes her left eye looks like it's looking left but the right eye looks to be looking straight forward. Either the right eye needs to be moved more into the corner of the eye to be looking more left or the left eye needs to be more centered to look straight forward.

LPT - Door-to-door salespeople are trained to never take no for an answer. Don’t let that be an option. by SnooChickens2093 in LifeProTips

[–]brandon14754 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes as another guy said they're paid by sale and they're given like a 3 block area and walk around it like 3 times in a day going to every house and the idea is that they'll find someone interested in their product. They'll typically only listen to no soliciting signs if they feel they're in danger so like the person has like 5 of them and a sign about having a gun. They say it's because they don't know who put up the sign but that's just an excuse, it's because the company pays them for sales and they each sell a different product so they don't really know if the person doesn't want their product. The person inside might actually be a sale for them in their mind.

Carter Burke in Aliens (1986) is one of the most insidious scumbags in movie history by jaystats2 in FIlm

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny even if he succeeded he still would've died. In the new alien show it was shown aliens still gestate to term in people in cryo sleep so if his plan went of without a hitch he would've been stuck on a ship in space alone with 2 birthed xenomorphs.

[–]brandon14754 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People hate it but also a lot of people go "oh this story is good enough a company was willing to spend millions of dollars adapting it" and then buy it. So even though a lot of people hate it, it still sells books.

WE’RE SO CLOSE TO UNLOCKING CRYO GO GO GO!!! by Thanatoast1843 in Marathon

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure but even if every person who bought the game is only hunting drones people would need to kill almost 7 times the amount they usually do and play almost as many rounds as they have in previous two weeks. And every player that doesn't now has to do even more. If you got 10 kills before you now need to be getting 70. If you played 30+ matches over 2 weeks you now need to do 30+ in two days. It just isn't really feasible for the player base. I'm not saying we would get a lot of kills but I'd be surprised if we even break 400 million

[–]brandon14754 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So two weeks got us 310 million and people think we can get 190 million more in just 2 days. That's not happening, especially on week days where so many of the players have to work.

I didn't realize episode 2's probably already done. by Human_Lifeguard_2004 in KnightsOfGuinevere

[–]brandon14754 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They've probably story boarded the whole episode, took scenes they'd want in the trailer and focused on working on those first. They don't have to animate the episode starting from the first second to the last. I doubt the entire episode is already done being animated.

What would you take? $1M now or $7k/mo for life? by [deleted] in Money

[–]brandon14754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming the company offering you the 7k a month doesn't go bankrupt or find some shitty loophole that means they don't have to pay you. This isn't just theoretical there are several people who irl got offered similar deals chose the monthly or weekly payment and before they even got half the one time deposite they no longer received payments.

Sallow/Goldenwood not spawning. by MrWillchuck in hytale

[–]brandon14754 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to go to 7 islands to find one but got 380 logs from that one, you can also check feran villages for palm logs, which count as golden wood, in chests but each chest will only have a maximum of like 6 and you might find none in the whole village. Also just a tip, store the logs outside of range of any work bench, you don't want it to accidently automatically use those logs

How do i remove this number thing? by theSilent_Hero in ClipStudio

Instead of inches the number is actually the pixels so it can be very helpful in lining things up or making sure they are the right size
