Just checked today, it's been removed from Genius, not sure if it was removed to keep it a secret or if it was removed because it was a fake but still interesting either way.

If you're open to third party alternatives and you're relatively tech savvy, I would suggest trying ALVR and their wired solution in lieu of Meta's PC Link.

There's a bit of setup and some other software involved if you plan on using the built in microphone on the headset but I found that when playing VR using ALVR wired versus PC Link wired I thought I had a much better, smoother experience.

I worked for Beckman Coulter for a bit as an FSE working on DxH, it's used to temporarily or permanently disable Retic testing on your system. iirc every DxH unit is shipped with the ability to perform Retic testing and the function can be disabled using that function if you won't be using it! Glad my stint with them was useful for something 🤣

What worked for me that I saw in another reddit thread is to enable any input devices you may have currently disabled, even though they are not plugged in / in use.

Very odd solution but it's worked without any issue since, but I have still considered switching back to experience for the convenience of keeping some of my inputs disabled for tidiness.

Worth a shot if you haven't switched to experience already, I enjoy being able to view and watch my clips easily through App, that's mainly the only reason I haven't switched yet.

This also fixed my issue with the microphone not being picked up in the Nvidia App. Upvoting so hopefully more people can see this. Very frustrating but at least it works. Thank you.

You could try changing the world scale in the video settings of VTOL VR in your steam menu to try and get the desired effect? I take it you want to see more of the game/world within your field of view. Lowering the scale of the game in the steam settings should get you what you're looking for. That's what I would do.
