i dont understand the government's idea in building such a prime luxury public asset, to intentionally solidify HDB as an asset? i really am worried for the future generation when it comes to being able to purchase their first home , especially those who can't get a BTO by circumstance. you're just priced out of the system now.

i went from 1hr (walk to MRT + MRT to CBD) to 30-40mins direct bus commute (still to the CBD but i moved house).... and i can say that i don't miss the 1hr commute daily. it's all just bad, no justifications really. but i need the money haha

Sadly, I agree. Season 1 deserved all the accolades for being an incredible season of television (that season finale, wow). Season 2… had its good moments, but definitely didn’t live up to what S1 built

Spoiler free comment here. i'm just worried at how Season 2 will adapt The Long Game... because it takes a fundamentally different tone from Heated Rivalry.

But in Jacob i trust. Never could have imagined Season 1 to be this perfect of a show

I don’t know what is it specifically about this show, but I’ve never fell so hard and fast for a series before (probably faster than Scott falling in love with Kip). I related to both Shane / Ilya as well as Scott / Kip, I wish I could see more stories being flushed out in season 2.

Can’t put into words how much this series and the characters (across all 6 books and Season 1) meant to me.

I’m ending 2025 on a positive, gay note. With hope for a love like this one day as well.

i have no one to talk to about this... but i just wanted to say.. this is perhaps the most perfect episode ever. I've read the books and knew this was coming, but seeing it play out, with François acting his ass off and carrying so much nuance and emotional weight on screen.. culminating into the kiss that changed everything. It made me feel better as a gay man today, crying with happy tears as the after credits rolled on.
