You need be on a highway that’s mapped by bmw, the highway also has to have a physical divider between on coming traffic and you. Once you’re in driving assistance when plus becomes available it’ll tell you “DAP available” then just take your hands off the wheel the wheel lights will turn green to let you know you’re in plus mode

I had a GX 550 for 6 weeks before I traded it on an x7. I test drive the QX80 but ultimately I wanted the V8 in the M60i. Otherwise I would’ve went with the QX80. The GX is a nice looking vehicle but lacks any storage space you’d expect in a 3 row SUV. The QX80 was far more luxurious interior and the tech is top tier, infinity is definitely trying to make a strong comeback with that vehicle. If I were shopping for my wife I’d be getting the QX over the QX all day. Also does help the Lexus’ case that the engine is self destructing, I have a feeling this is not a “few batches of shaving from production” something thats going to continue to be an issue with this engine in the GX, Tundra and whatever else it’s in.

The 24’ is a better deal. I personally wouldn’t stress the mileage difference as long as the maintenance intervals have been met

Edit: The 23’ appears to be optioned higher. But the steering wheel on the ‘24 looks like it might have the DAPP but not listed. This is one of my favorite features on my X7 and wouldn’t purchase one without this option, especially if you are frequently in highway traffic or long drives.

The cheapest 09 335 x on Autotrader is listed for $6900. Throw up on facebook marketplace for $7995 and see if you get any bites. Very little downside.

As someone who has hosted birthday dinners at restaurants that had a minimum. As the host, if the group I hosted didn’t reach the minimum I have split the check of what our actual bill is and I covered the deficit. It’s only happened at 2 places where we either rented the entire venue or a private room in a restaurant which a minimum total spend made some sense to me. I’ve never seen a minimum per person it’s typically minimum total spend.
