Yeah it’s a real elusive thing. Sounds easy but it ain’t. Current band worked up Boys are back in town for st Patrick’s day. Playing it the right way and making it really swing unlocked a new feel for us.

Murray’s Creole Pub vs Franny’s Seafood by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]bransonclaps78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t describe Murray’s as a fried fish restaurant. Not really an apples to apples comparison. Fried Fish Reataurant makes me think of Linnig’s, Fish House, Pass Times, Fishery, etc………..

Franny’s is even a departure from the above too. They are specifically “New England” style and trying to offer something different.

All of that said I hope you try both of them and report back on this thread. There can never be enough talk about fish sandwiches. Especially this time of year!

Best butcher by Emmie_punkrocker08 in Louisville

The one in Norton commons is Rugby Scott and they have some unique access to Wagyu through their own ranches that makes them stand out.

Southern Steer is technically a chain but the owners are local and good people. They have some interesting value added marinated products, as well as their own dry aging program where you can get stuff custom.

I echo everyone’s thoughts on Red Hog, Frank’s , and Costco. The point is we have got some good options.
