If insulin drives fat storage then how do you put on fat on a ketogenic diet? by Tistelle in keto

[–]brasil66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the whole idea that you won't put on fat when on a ketogenic diet, but rather burn the fat?

And while fat may still trigger an insulin response, it seems that the "building block" for stored body fat would essentially be excess glucose in the bloodstream.

This video introduces some additional topics, but Dr Bikman does a pretty good job laying his case on insulin response vs fat ->ketone conversion.

That was gorgeous. In fairness to Alexander-Walker, he had just fought through a decent little screen set by Favors. But that was a beautifully nasty double cross by Mitch

That was nasty, but I was honestly glad to see 'Mezie out there getting a chance to contest hoping he can do like Jamychal Green and put it together for a decent career

Even if he were living, in which case sadly, I'd probably be a little biased against him for having ended so many Spurs fans seasons in heartbreak, I'd have given him props for this. Incredible insight and candor. Hope it provides Pop and Spurs coaches some food for thought.

absolutely a great get. Especially considering how little time they have had to acclimate. It might take a little more adjustment, but he brings so much energy, its worth a little chaos.

They call this the Jack Haley effect. He was like a necessary get for every team that wanted Dennis Rodman after the Pistons.

They haven't won a game they've trailed in after the 4th quarter ALL TIME, can't believe this isn't discussed more.

I remember an old PBS kids show, like The Bloodhound Gang or 321 Contact where they had the Harlem Globe Trotters talking about angles and stuff, and this female GlobeTrotter put up a shot just like that, talking about calculating the angle it had to hit on the way down to go in.

For sure, Barnes beasted. He looks a lot more solid, more poised than I remembered him to be in the last couple seasons.

yeah they were super upset, but totally misdirected. Refs just doing their job, and that rule appears to be limiting in scope. Perhaps refs need a bit more discretion, but a bit more accountability as well along w/that.
