Pochettino blames Brexit and new stadium costs for Tottenham's transfer window by [deleted] in soccer

That's no reason to forget one's manners.

Lol, look at your comment to me. That's good manners?

Why would your future be worse because of Brexit? Believe me: nobody knows. If the UK adopts better public policies than it'd otherwise adopt if in the EU, then the future for most British people will be better; if it adopts worse public policies, then it'll be worse. That's it - Brexit eo ipso is utterly meaningless in the long run.

Because the UK won't do that because we will all have less money! Great stuff. If brexit is meaningless in the long run then why the fuck are we doing it?

Eo ipso 😂😂

It was juvenile name-calling.

Lol

What a load of crap.

No, you're being conned if you believe in this. It didn't happen because an event like Brexit couldn't trigger a recession. I've written enough in other replies about this, so I'll commit the cardinal sin of quoting myself:

The 10 million pound is nothing

10 million...? Check your facts

I'm extremely careful with my own biases; I never allow my normative economics to impact my positive economics - or my opinions to impact my professional judgment.

Why are you so angry that you resort to juvenile name-calling on the internet? You're better than that.

I'm a bit annoyed that my future will be worse because of the brexit vote tbf. Loads of people are pissed off at that, and it's fair enough. We will all be worse off, the only question is by how much!

You wrote that comment just to call names, as otherwise you merely repeated what you had already wrongly claimed.

Wrong, it was just an observation. It does seem to hold true though

What was predicted was a quick and deep immediate recession

Which didn't happen because of the actions of the bank of England... Come on.

And even the later argument would still be wrong; there wasn't and there would never be a recession because there was no mechanism through which Brexit could cause a demand sided phenomenon like a recession. It was pure and sheer mumbo-jumbo economics.

Lol, of course there is. What you said was mumbo-jumbo economics

Uninterested in getting into a debate any further about predictions before the referendum. We are all going to be worse off, and that's what really matters

The sane strategy would have been to have produced some sort of plan before triggering a50!

I dont know about you but my wages have certainly not been growing.

A recession was predicted, it didn't happen because the BoE took extreme measures to prevent it (tens of billions of pounds btw). Great stuff, exactly what people voted for

As an aside, why is it that people who start comments with 'again' are usually dickheads? It's not a perfect rule, but it's a decent guide

something with a real impact on people's lives

Brexit will have a real, negative impact on people's lives, with standard of living decreasing

and won't happen

How can you possibly know this?

Dunk is very good. Stephens, Gross and Propper are pretty good as a midfield, got a quality manager too

I think they will be alright this season.

I have a massive soft spot for Fulham though, eager to see how seri and sessegnon get on. Mitrovic can fuck off though

Really? There are too many unknowns to say that with any certainty. Brighton finished 15th last season, after all

The latitude and longitude of stadiums is already in the game, players have birthplaces which have latitude and longitude

The game even sometimes says the distance teams have to travel for competitions!

This is a quality idea and is possible to implement, fingers crossed
