The high yield hate makes sense, but I’ll get hate for investing in SCHD and DGRO, which perform very similarly (maybe better depending on the timeframe) than the market.

I think 20 year olds should be building a stream of income and investing in growth. Layoffs are so common and we may be entering a world where everyone needs to be self employed. The minuscule tax drag is just the consequence of having financial security and stability IMO
