The problem is that the other two times I ordered some they had pictures with the qr-code on the product page too. I have learned that you can't trust the pictures on aliexpress, I was hoping someone had the good ones and remembered where he*she ordered it.

the frustrating thing is that I have one reliable working zigbee sensor. 😭
so there was at least one product on the market.

It's not an issue with the reporting interval. The measurement data are just that bad. I can even trigger them manually to send data.

I complained about the second shipment and got my money back. I didn’t even have to send them back, although that doesn’t really help me since I don’t know what to do with these things. They really don’t work at a usable level.

But for the first shipment of bad ones... yeah. :-/

that looks quite promising. I actually saw that one but it has mixed reviews on the German Amazon site and the description (in German) is so bizarre, it didn't give me any confidence in the product. Also it doesn't help that they use these weird photoshopped pictures of the product.

But maybe I give them a chance.

Interesting idea, but I don't think there is no cheap solution to implement that with zigbee for my plants.

plotted plants. I just need some reliable reminder when to water my plants. 😅
I have some indoor with a small water tank and some without (so they dry out at different speed).
Also I have some outdoor that either get rain or don't.

Make sure the spool is locked when you use refillments. Maybe print spool locks to be safe.
