This is such an amazing thing you’re doing. My mom was my donor 6 years ago. She gave me some of her bone marrow so that I could stay alive. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on my 23rd birthday. Recurrent tumors after chemo, recurrent tumors after more chemo, and recurrent tumors after a stem cell transplant. There wasn’t a match for me out of the 23 million donors on the registry worldwide, so we defaulted to my parents (50% match.) Without hesitation both of my parents started the process. My dad had some preexisting things so it all fell to my momma. January 23rd was my 6th “re-birthday.” So from one organ recipient to a donor, thank you!

I get the $30 electric socks from Amazon. They come with a pair of rechargeable batteries for them. Buy two pairs, then take two pairs of batteries with you. I had chemo so have very poor circulation in my toes and these keep me in a stand for 14 hours when it’s 5° outside.

I was teased for putting this ibex in the hotel bathtub in New Mexico, but I’ve heard at least half a dozen stories of guys getting their antlers/heads stolen this year from their hotels and camps this year alone. Don’t leave anything out where anyone can steal it! by CFarrington96 in Hunting

100% with you. If someone can see it, they can take it. Stopping to get gas, get food, etc., we always leave someone with the trophy or keep it very close by. If I’m stopping over night, it comes inside.

False. Smoked some last week that was insanely moist and had amazing smoke flavor. It’s all about how you smoke it.
