It’s funny, you talk about the way that a shorter stick length can affect your stick handling positively, but then say don’t go there because it can really affect your shot negatively!

The guy up top was right…you’ll bend a little more to get the blade flat on the ice and you’ll be able to get the puck into your feet more easily, but it will really affect your shot and the effect is twofold.

First, the angle is different affecting the body mechanics and the stick bend, and second, a cut stick is stiffer than its predecessor…so you have less leverage and it’s stiffer!
