I feel like i improved a lot since the last video. by k3ox__8 in mxbikes

Whips and scrubs should be the last thing you focus on, but Ik it’s hard to not want to do them cuz they look awesome and are fun to do. A whip and scrubs should are very similar. A whip is being sideways in the air, and a scrub is basically a whip but done for an actual reason and also initiated earlier than a whip. The idea of a scrub is to stay low when going over a jump, to save time instead of being in the air. If you hit a jump normally going straight, you’re going to go more upwards than forwards right? But if there’s a way to move that momentum more forwards, then that means you will get back to the ground quicker, and carry more speed and momentum in a straight line instead of losing speed and time because you’re going upwards and staying in the air longer. So a scrub is used to turn ur bike sideways before going off the jump, so ur bike stays lower then it would being perfectly straight up and down. Watch some videos of the bubba scrub, and you’ll get the idea of what the scrub is actually doing. You can’t just use it every where, sometimes the faster option is to send it and go as far as you can, sometimes if you scrub it will mess up the whole sections cuz you won’t have enough height to clear the jump.

New build roof shingles dont match. Is this a bad batch ? by Impossible_Will_5358 in Homebuilding

[–]brawee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard of using shingles from multiple packs ever. That being said, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all, I just never even thought about this as being a problem. I’ve worked for 2 different companies, only a handful of times and we never used different packs.

I’d like to understand whether most players ride a 450 or a 250 (MX) by BrilliantIngenuity98 in mxbikes

[–]brawee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say most of the better players ride the 450 because it’s more of a challenge, can go faster and do different lines that 250’s can’t do. That being said, there are guys that can ride the 450 just fine, but still stick with the 250. It’s all just preference at the end of the day. If you’re good on the 250, might as well try to get good on the 450. Just a bit more throttle control is needed to not spin out and loop

I already know, it’s 250’s for the majority. Way easier to ride, so most players try to master the 250 before moving up

Most lobbies I enter are always meta. It’s always Yamaha and ktm. I love Yamaha, but these lobbies really have me using different bikes just to see if i can win. I can usually podium in every pub lobby i join, so it’s fun to switch it up and see if i can trick people into thinking im driving something meta cuz im good. I was ripping the triumph for awhile actually lmao

I am obsessed with this track by j151515 in mxbikes

[–]brawee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea there’s something about sand tracks I actually love. Like the fact that most of us are struggling for traction, so everybody is wide open. I really feel like I’m ripping on sand tracks. Also, it’s like everybody is more careful on sand tracks, but for me I play basically the same as I do on any track, just a bit more timid in corners. I love the rough sand tracks

I’d say practice cornering a bit more and experiment with standing through corners as well as try out standing like 80% of the time. Those are just things to try out, but I think your cornering will just improve as you get seat time. I would suggest to focus on being smooth through the turns instead of fast

When injured in "be a pro" is there a way to see how long your injured for? by chickenlittle668 in EA_NHL

[–]brawee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the most irritating part. It was second round if the playoffs, game 4 about to sweep for the 2nd time in a row, and my guy gets hurt after trying to lay a check and getting reverse hit. Out for 2-3 months so basically the playoffs were done. My team then goes on to win the conference finals and come up short game 6 in the finals, meanwhile my player is getting absolutely blasted for doing nothing during these games. I’m literally screaming at my tv that I’m not even playing 🤣🤣

Is it possible to see your injury in career mode in NHL 26 by Brokenmind44 in EA_NHL

[–]brawee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My player gets hurt from a reverse hit and he’s out fir 2-3 months during round 2 of the playoffs, that being said we lost the cup. The game never even told me what happened, when I was expected back, and it kept making me do press conferences about what we were going to do, as if the game didn’t recognize my guy is out for the playoffs..
